WHY WE DO IT
mission
Simply put, we aim to provide kids and their families an active lifestyle, healthy living, positive mentorship, discipline and community cohesion through lacrosse.
ABOUT
Gabe and Sashie Fowler created Kids Lacrosse in the garage of Gabe’s mother’s house. It all started with a simple idea; to provide more recreational opportunities for kids to play at their local parks, schools, and rec centers. Thus, Kids Lacrosse was born.
Gabe has a background in youth athletics, serving as a coach and athletic director in his previous job with L.A. county. Sashie, on the other hand, has a background in communications, focusing on media production. Even though both Gabe and Sashie didn’t grow up knowing or playing the sport, they developed an appreciation for lacrosse later in life, and wanted to bring the sport to the communities they serve.
Kids Lacrosse was founded on Christian principles and ethics that drive our mission and vision.
We hope that we can inspire, mentor, challenge, and provide more opportunities for all our people and communities.
vision
When we think about sports, we don't want to just focus on the X’s and O’s. We want to focus on the character development; the education of our players and coaches; and most importantly, the person as a whole.
That is why Kids Lacrosse is dedicated to teaching life lessons, skills, fitness, mental toughness, and much more through the vehicle of lacrosse. We want to provide programming that is low cost, full of positive mentorship, super fun, and engaging for people of all ages to play, coach, or referee, all around the nation.
